Jennifer Goldman, Director
A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Jennifer Goldman has worked in hospitality for more than 20 years, including the Four Seasons Hotels and award-winning restaurants. She has been with Patrick Properties Events since 1998 and during her tenure has been active in every facet of the hospitality industry, from pastry chef to accounting to event planning.
Ashley Gunnin, General Manager
Ashley Gunnin joined PPE in February 2008 with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Patrick Properties Events, Ms. Gunnin worked with Charleston-based, Fishbait Marketing, where she organized ChazzFest among other events. Previously, she led the operations at the BB&T Food + Wine Festival and prior to that, spent nearly seven years as Special Events Manager with the South Carolina Aquarium. She is a College of Charleston graduate with a major in Business and Marketing. As General Manager, she will oversee the historic waterfront property's events, continuing renovation and staff.
Nico Romo, Executive Chef
Executive Chef Nico Romo joined Fish in May 2007 and brings more than 13 years of culinary experience with him. A Lyon, France native, Romo graduated from the prestigious Helene Boucher Culinary Art School in Venissieux at age 15. He has worked with an array of international chefs from around the globe in France, Memphis and Atlanta. Prior to joining Fish, Romo was Executive Chef of B.E.D. restaurant in the Glenn Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia.
Susanna Ieronemo, Pastry Chef
With Susanna Ieronemo as Pastry Chef, Fish, for the first time in its history, offers an array of delectable and imaginative wedding cakes, as well as a seasonally-inspired menu of to-die-for desserts. An Illinois native, Ms. Ieronemo planned to study culinary arts at the Providence, Rhode Island campus of Johnson & Wales University. However, through a rather fortuitous miscommunication, she found herself studying in Charleston and has been here ever since. Prior to joining Fish, she was the Pastry Chef for Cordavi in Charleston, as well as Seabrook Island Club and Stephen Duvall Catering.
Jessica Kafer, Corporate Sales Manager
Jessica Kafer joined Patrick Properties Events as Corporate Sales Manager for The William Aiken House, The American Theater, Fish Restaurant and Lowndes Grove in January 2008. A Maryland native, Ms. Kafer has more than eight years of hospitality experience. Prior to joining Patrick Properties Events, Ms. Kafer was Group Sales Manager with The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina. Previously, she worked with The Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels, Maryland, part of the Orient-Express family and sister property of Charleston Place. As Corporate Sales Manager, she leads the charge to enhance relationships with in-state, regional and national businesses to build the special events, fundraisers and corporate meetings business.
Adrienne Althen, Sales Manager
Adrienne Althen brings more than 10 years of marketing, sales and event coordination experience to Patrick Properties Events. Currently, Ms. Althen handles the booking of weddings and social events at Lowndes Grove. Before joining Patrick Properties Events, she worked in event coordination at Wild Dunes Resort and Zinc Bistro.
Charlotte McDowell, Sales Manager
With extensive experience in both restaurant management and corporate event planning, Charlotte McDowell has conceived and implemented a wide array of events for Patrick Properties Events: from formal dinners for 350 to al fresco lunches for 10. Her clients include Fortune 500 corporate groups, local businesses and professional associations. She currently handles the booking of weddings and social events at The William Aiken House. A Charleston, SC native, she is also a graduate of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
